Ohio Theater Accidentally Shows Kids Horror Movie Instead Of Disney Film

Children and parents anxiously awaiting to see the new Disney movie “Inside Out” at an Ohio theater got the scare of a lifetime as a horror movie started playing! Moviegoers in Middletown, Ohio, were accidentally shown the frightening flick “Insidious: Chapter 3” instead of the animated Pixar film, according to the Associated Press.

Jazymn Moore took five excited children to see the latest family-friendly flick from Disney at Danbarry Cinema. However, when “images of children being tied up and murdered appeared on the screen,” the kids became terrified, reported Journal-News. Once she and the other parents realized the wrong film was playing, they quickly gathered everyone and ran out of the theater.

“I got our money back but the damage is already done… my children are terrified and keep asking questions,” said Moore, according to the New York Daily News.

People who have seen “Insidious: Chapter 3” call it one scary flick:

A Danbarry Cinema manager blamed the error on the projection booth clerk, according to the Journal-News. Apologies were immediately issued and all moviegoers wishing to see the much happier film “Inside Out” were ushered into a 3-D screening of the blockbuster, without having to pay the additional fees.
