"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" is already packed to the brim with iconic DC characters. In addition to the titular heroes, other members of the Justice League and a few well known DC villains are scheduled to appear.

Wonder Woman will insert herself into the super powered fray, though under what circumstances we don't know. Aquaman and The Flash are expected to make minor cameos. Lex Luthor (and possibly Doomsday) and Mercy Graves figure to be at the center of the conflict as well. Hell, even Jared Leto's Joker is expected to appear in a flashback scene. That's a lot of comic book characters for one movie.

But it sounds as if director Zack Snyder isn't afraid to slip one more character into the mix.

Actor Callan Mulvey ("Captain America: The Winter Soldier") has reportedly been cast as Anatoli Knyazev, otherwise known as the KGBeast, according to Heroic Hollywood. However, it sounds as if the big screen version will differ greatly from the villain in the comic books. In "Batman V Superman," Anatoli will be Lex Luthor's right hand man who monitors the known metahumans in the DC Extended Universe. In the comics, KGBeast was a genetically advanced agent for the USSR. It sounds as if he will be forgoing his KGBeast title in "Batman V Superman," at least for now.

The character has popped up in the comics as one of Batman's tougher physical opponents. He's also appeared in The CW's "Arrow," though not under the KGBeast moniker.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will debut on March 25, 2016.
