Dunkin Donuts is taking a page out of Starbuck's book. The widely-loved coffee company has started testing its new mobile ordering service, according to Bloomberg. This means that customers will be able to use their smartphones to make their coffee orders ahead of time, saving time and skipping the line on their morning commute.

Starbucks has already introduced this service to their customers nationwide, but Dunkin Donuts is trying out the new service in Portland, Maine, according to Engadget. The service is expected to be a huge success.

The coffee company is also introducing a new delivery service in certain cities like Chicago, L.A., D.C., Atlanta, and Dallas, according to WGN.

Customers will able to use the service DoorDash to get their orders delivered to their door, from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m., according to WGN. The service doesn't include all menu options, but includes most. Customers should expect to have their orders delivered within 45 minutes.

This is a big breakthrough for the company, following in the footsteps of companies like Starbucks, Taco Bell, and McDonald's, who have already begun introducing services like all-day breakfast and mobile ordering, according to Bloomberg.

Both of these services are in their trial stages, according to Endadget. There is no word yet on when, or if, these services will expand nationwide.
