Everyone knows that watching the two best NFL teams of the season go head-to-head at the Super Bowl is only half the appeal of watching the game. Many people get just as excited about the Super Bowl commercials as they do the game itself.

Every year the game is the most watched event on television, which means advertising space is a highly coveted, and very expensive, thing. Having said that, those who take out an ad usually pull out all the stops. According to Zap2It, there won't be many commercials for movies during the Super Bowl XLVIII game, but those that are going to be aired will be packing a big punch.

The original lineup of 30-second commercials from Hollywood studios included "Transformers: Age of Extinction," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," "Draft Day" and one unannounced spot from Disney. However, The Hollywood Reporter suggests that Disney is apparently looking for one or two more ad slots, which would not only cost them about $4.4 million each, but would give the company a chance to promote a few of its movies all in one fell swoop.

Which movie will Disney be showing off? THR suggests the suspects are the Aaron Paul led "Need for Speed" film, in Paul's first role since Braking Bad ended. Another possibility is "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and "Guardians of the Galaxy," both films in the Marvel cinematic universe's Phase 2 strategy to gear things up for "The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron."

Although "Guardians of the Galaxy" is not as recognizable a brand as Captain America, it would make sense for Disney to stir up hype over the project by playing an ad for it at the Super Bowl. Currently, the only promotional material for the film is a single picture of all the main characters dressed in full costume and make-up.

"Guardians" stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and the voices of Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper. It follows the adventures of Star-Lord (Pratt) and a group of unlikely heroes who need to fight together in order to save the better interests of the entire galaxy. It's set in the same universe as the rest of the Avengers-centric Marvel films but takes place several years in the future in outer space.

Right now, Disney is remaining relatively tight-lipped about what movie trailers it will be playing at the Super Bowl. Fans will be forced to wait until the Super Bowl to find out exactly what Disney has in store for its super hero fans - as if people needed another reason to watch the game.
