A young woman and her 6-year-old daughter were found dead inside their Bronx apartment on Saturday, and police sources say their accused murderer is also dead.

Caleb Duberry, 34, allegedly stabbed Gabrielle Muniz, 26, and her daughter, Rozara Estevez, numerous times, according to NYPD sources.

Muniz's mother, Yanik Rocha, confirmed that Duberry and Muniz had been dating. Rozara, on the other hand, claims that she was not Duberry's child. Rocha said her daughter was in pharmacology school and expected to graduate in September, PEOPLE reported.

According to the NYPD, the terrible fatalities were found during a welfare check on Saturday. According to the sources, the small girl's body was discovered in her bed. According to police reports, three knives were removed from the scene. It was the worst thing he had ever seen, according to one investigator.

As per the sources, detectives followed Duberry to an apartment building a mile away from the murders on Sunday. Duberry, who was barricaded inside an apartment, appears to have committed suicide as police approached.

The victim's sister claims her niece witnessed her mother's death before she was murdered. The culprit was identified as Muniz's boyfriend, Caleb Duberry, who was on parole at the time for assault.

On Saturday at about 4:00 pm, neighbors reported they observed Duberry depart the victim's apartment. The couple had been dating for less than a year, according to the victim's relatives, and Rozara was not Duberry's kid.

Gisselle said that her sister worked from home for a legal business and was studying pharmacy at the time. Muniz received many stab wounds to her head, back, and arms, according to sources, while Rozara had blunt force injuries to the head and multiple stab wounds to the face. The motivation for the double homicide remained unknown at the time.

Ricardo Muniz, Muniz's father, claimed he was concerned last year and contacted police to check on his daughter. He went on to say that Duberry didn't like Muniz's professional objectives and became aggressive as a result, as per The Sun.

Authorities in Philadelphia are investigating the stabbing of a woman and her two boys in the Mayfair district on Sunday afternoon. The triple stabbing occurred just after 2:00 pm in the 3200 block of Knorr Street, according to police.

A lady in her 30s was stabbed many times throughout her body, according to authorities. As reported, a 15-year-old and a 10-year-old were stabbed in the back of the head. All three were taken to Frankford-Torresdale Hospital. The two youngsters are in stable condition while the lady is in serious condition.

Hengjian Ni, 39, of New York, turned himself into police before being transferred to the hospital so the victims could make a definite identification. Simple assault, aggravated assault, recklessly harming another person, attempted murder, burglary, and attempted rape are among the counts he faces, as per Fox29.
