Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden's son, has been the subject of a federal probe into his tax troubles in recent weeks.

The Washington Post became the second major news organization to declare that emails from the notorious Hunter Biden laptop are genuine. According to the report, two security experts used cryptographic signatures from Google and other technology companies to authenticate roughly 22,000 emails between 2009 and 2019, including information about Hunter Biden's shady international business transactions.

Authenticated Emails Reveal Hunter Biden's Massive Foreign Deals

The New York Post exclusively revealed the existence of Hunter Biden's emails in October 2020 after receiving a copy of the hard drive from a damaged MacBook Pro laptop that was dropped off in April 2019 and never retrieved, according to the owner of a repair shop in the Biden family's hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

Several authenticated emails included a contract President Biden's son sought with the CEFC China Energy Company for which he was paid approximately $5 million. Hunter Biden was paid as much as $83,333 per month, or $1 million per year, for his work for the Ukrainian oil business Burisma Holdings, according to other authenticated emails, New York Post reported.

More witnesses are anticipated to be called by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware, which has been spearheading the investigation. According to sources, prosecutors have yet to decide if criminal charges against Hunter Biden are needed, and there is discussion over whether Biden's confessed prior drug misuse may be used against him in a criminal prosecution involving his financial decisions.

They also discovered a slew of sexually violent photographs and movies on the laptop, including a gruesome 12-minute clip film purporting to show the future first son consuming crack and performing a sex act with an unknown lady. In December 2020, shortly after his father was elected president, Hunter Biden disclosed the existence of the probe.

Hunter Biden's Ex-Wife Has no Plan to Speak Against Him in Indictment

President Joe Biden has vowed to protect the Justice Department's independence and not interfere with its work since taking office. The tax investigation is being spearheaded by the United States. Attorney Dan Weiss, a Trump appointment who stayed on after Joe Biden was sworn in.

While government watchdogs have raised concerns about Hunter Biden's international business connections, the federal investigation is the first legal threat connected to his abroad operations, as per ABC News. Meanwhile, the mother of one of Hunter Biden's children claims she has never made a public remark on whether the president's son would be charged on financial-related charges.

During an interview with the New York Post, Lunden Roberts clarified that it was her lawyer, Clint Lancaster, who said that he predicted Hunter Biden would be indicted after viewing a significant amount of Hunter's financial records. Roberts also stated that she has never spoken about Hunter Biden's finances and has no plans to do so.

Lunden Roberts stated that she was concerned about the safety and well-being of her 3-year-old daughter, Navy, whom she shares with Hunter Biden. The first son stated in his 2021 book that he had no recollection of having an encounter with Roberts, even though she had worked for his investment business.

Hunter Biden has five children with his second wife, whom he married in 2019. In April, he stated that he was fully cooperating with federal authorities looking into his taxes. He stated that he is 100% positive that he would be found not guilty of any misconduct, according to Washington Examiner.
