Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that western arms given to Ukraine are for extending the US proxy war that began in February this year. He said last Sunday that the west aims for prolonged conflict but omitted the destruction of Ukrainian weapons that need replacements.
Western Alliance To Prolong Proxy War
In an interview with Pavel Zarubin on a program in Moscow, Vladimir Putin said that more deliveries of western armaments are for the primary purpose of extending the conflict, reported TASS.
Last Sunday, the Russian leader was on the Vesti Nedeli, News of the Week, a program broadcasted by the Rossiya-1 TV Channel.
Putin remarked the US multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) mean nothing because the Russian army demolished the same weapons, with rockets having the same range that needs replacements.
He added that nothing is new and the former KGB agent assessed that all the bravado of Zelensky about these MLRS is similar to Russia-made Grad, Smerch, and Uragan rocket launchers, which makes little difference, cited Armedia.
He stressed that the rocket's range is important, not the system itself. These missiles can target a range of 45 to 70 km, which is the rocket used. These US-made MLRS are the same as the Russian systems, which are roughly equivalent, said the head of state.
As a result, these deliveries by the US and other countries can only be related to the specific intent of aiding Kyiv in replacing smashed hardware.
Putin doubts Washington's words that Ukraine will not train these weapons on Russia as part of the US proxy war. Trust is not the matter but what matters is the rockets will be given to Kyiv, from 515 rocket systems of the Ukrainian military, of which 380 are wrecked in combat, noted Sondakika.
Putin said that newly supplied arms are restored to 360 again. Also, the US and allies are rearming Kyiv, which has lost military hardware previously delivered.
Zelensky is desperate for more weapons due to the immense losses of his forces, who have abandoned positions and equipment, and the demolition of arms in battle.
Ukrainian Forces May Use Long-Range Rockets
The Kremlin said if long-range rockets were sent, then Russia would do what was needed due to this added provocation. The Russian leader gave this warning to the west, who is feeding the US proxy war, using Zelensky and his cabal.
Still, Putin made his opinion and policy of wiping out any US MLRS that will have rockets capable of attacking Russia will have disastrous consequences on the US and NATO allies.
Downplaying western propaganda of supplying Zelensky with modern rocket launchers does not faze him. All the furor over the new deliveries that are symmetrical to systems in use by the Ukrainian military with a 45-70 km range is moot.
On June 1, the US administration announced the new military aid package, including the delivery of High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) weapons and ammunition, with its first batch, also included four rocket systems.
The range of a light HIMARS, a wheeled rocket launcher, is only 80 km, which the Biden administration said will not be used against Russia. But, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on June 2, called Kyiv deceitful enough to dishonor their benefactors' promise, they expect it might be broken.
Vladimir Putin called the US proxy war and prolonged the war via US MLRS and HIMARS as the neocons aim not peace but said everything would be done to lessen the threats against Russia.
