Russian officials confirmed a western ammunition dump with 45,000 tons was destroyed in Southern Ukraine on Sunday. Reports from the Russian Defense Ministry said that a Ukrainian ammo dump was damaged again, although a US official thinks a maimed Kyiv can extend fighting despite massive losses.
Ukraine Losses Mounts
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, an armory in the Voznesensk section of the Nikolaev region that had 45,000 tons of munitions previously delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by NATO countries was destroyed, reported RT.
Meanwhile, the Russian army continued its attacks against Ukraine's 72nd mechanized brigade units, which were stationed at an agricultural plant in Artemovsk, Donetsk People's Republic. The onslaught wiped out up to 130 soldiers as well as eight transport and armored vehicles, noted The Herald.
Moscow's forces announced the launch of high-precision air-based missiles against a howitzer battery of Ukraine's 95th Air Assault Brigade in the DPR hamlet of Dzerzhinsk.

Moscow has consistently warned the West against sending weaponry to Kyiv, arguing that doing so will extend the conflict, increase the number of dead, and have long-term consequences.

A US official said the losses of men and equipment can sustain a fight until next year with frontlines failing.
Former US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Walker has warned Ukraine, Europe, and Russia to brace themselves for a harsh winter, predicting that violence will likely continue and an energy crisis will loom. He did, nevertheless, vow that Washington would stand by Kyiv's side.
Walker stated frankly, in discussion with Ukrainian media released last Sunday, that he expected the next winter would be harsh for both Ukraine and the EU, as well as Russia.
Extending the conflict into next year, he said Ukraine was doing well despite losing its territory and forces hanging on the edge. As Russia systemically tears into it slowly and Kyiv fails support.
The Kremlin has reiterated that there is no deadline and that the special military operation will pick at Ukraine agonizingly until it reaches its goal.
