The true victims of the issue are undoubtedly the defenseless children as President Joe Biden's policies exacerbate the crisis at the Southern Border.

Two unaccompanied boys, aged barely two and six, are captured in a tragic photo being stopped by border patrol after crossing from Guatemala to Texas.

The unnamed siblings had the phone numbers of US-based relatives written on their t-shirts. Along with a group of over a dozen other Guatemalan migrants, including six more children who were abandoned without legal guardians, the children were discovered by border patrol authorities early on Tuesday morning near La Grulla, Texas.

Southern Border Crisis' Real Victims

In order to transport the two boys to safety, border patrol officials must rely on the information written on the white shirts of a relative in the United States. It is unknown if the kids are on their way to those family members and if the authorities can get in touch with them.

Their predicament clearly demonstrates the ongoing problem at the southern border, where record numbers of individuals have been apprehended while attempting the often-dangerous crossing, with conservatives blaming President Joe Biden's policies for pushing them to do so.

Unlike some illegal immigrants, minors without guardians who enter the US through the southern border are not deported right away. Instead, until their family or other relatives can be found in the United States, youngsters are left in the custody of federal officers.

Unaccompanied minors must be returned to their country of origin if no family is discovered. According to the New York Post, current regulations will allow for the arrival of more than 140,000 unaccompanied minor migrants at the southern border in 2022 alone.

Additionally, it has boosted the quantity of undocumented immigrants who try to pass themselves off as kids to avoid deportation. Since October, the border patrol claims to have detained about 700 juvenile impostors in the El Paso, Texas, region.

This week, new data from border officials showed that during the past fiscal year, more than 2 million illegal immigrants had been detained along the southern border. This number is significantly higher than the 1.6 million arrests made in 2021 and more than 400% more than the 405,000 arrests made in 2020.

According to the border patrol, this year alone, agents in the Rio Grande region have come across more over 70,000 unaccompanied youngsters. GOP leaders around the country have emphasized the gravity of the border situation and the dearth of resources in US border cities to handle the increasing influx of illegal immigrants.

Biden Administrations Policies Spur Record Migrant Deaths

When he sent 50 migrants to the exclusive Massachusetts vacation island of Martha's Vineyard last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis received both praise and criticism. More migrants now appear to be being transported to Delaware by the governor, notably to a region close to Vice President Joe Biden's Rehoboth residence.

Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas, has been busing migrants from his state to the capital city; most recently, a group was dropped off in front of Kamala Harris' vice presidential mansion.

The governors of the red states have refuted claims that they are acting cruelly, instead highlighting the Biden administration's inability to adequately address the deteriorating situation at the border, as per Daily Mail.

Under President Joe Biden, more migrants have died trying to cross the US-Mexico border illegally than ever before. This is a tragic result of border policies that have forced many migrants over hazardous terrain because ports of entry have mostly been blocked to asylum seekers.

Former President Donald Trump, pictures of immigrant deaths have sparked outrage around the country, especially among Democrats. Although more people have died since Biden took office than during the administrations of Trump, Obama, Bush, or Clinton, Biden's party has not responded in the same way.

More than 50 immigrants were discovered dead in an abandoned, overheated tractor-trailer that was parked in San Antonio, Texas, at the end of May. The driver abandoned the passengers and was later taken into custody. The episode was the bloodiest smuggling incident in US history to date, Washington Examiner reported.
