Rhodes, the largest Dodecanese island in Greece, is experiencing severe wildfires that force tourists and residents to evacuate the area.
Because the situation in the popular Greek island is dangerous for visitors, Jet2 and TUI decided to cancel all flights and holidays going to Rhodes.
Greece Island Rhodes Wildfire: Jet2, TUI Cancel ALL Flights!
According to LAD Bible's latest report, German tourism company TUI (Touristik Union International) and Jet2, the 3rd largest airline in the U.K., said they had the cancel all flights.
The U.K. airline said they would contact tourists affected by the cancellations.
Jet2 added that passengers whose flights were canceled could expect full refunds and another opportunity to book their holidays.
"We are keeping the situation under constant review, and we will continue to make decisions in the best interests of our customers," said Jet2.
Meanwhile, TUI also announced that flights to Rhodes were already voided, including those scheduled for July 25.
"Customers currently in Rhodes will return on their intended flight home," added TUI.

Will EasyJet, Other Airlines Also Cancel Flights?
While Jet2 canceled its flights to the Greek island, EasyJet and Ryanair said that their flights are still operating to the country as normal.
But EasyJet said they are closely monitoring the situation on the Greek island.
The British airline advised its passengers who booked flights going to Rhodes to check the status of their bookings via the Flight Tracker.
EasyJet added that they are coordinating with local authorities and are contacting customers to support them during the wildfire in Rhodes.
"The safety and wellbeing of our customers and crew is our highest priority," said EasyJet via The Guardian.
But, since the Ministry of Climate Change and Civil Protection considers the wildfire as the largest fire evacuation in Greek history, there's a chance EasyJet and other airlines will cancel their flights going to the tourist island.
