According to Gizmodo's latest report, the Valorant World Championship Final on Saturday, Aug. 26, crowned the Evil Geniuses as the new champion after defeating Paper Rex. But, who would have guessed that another major happening would take place at the esports event in Los Angeles?

Elon Musk and his sons were attending the tournament when it happened. During the match-up between Evil Geniuses and Paper Rex, the live camera briefly panned to Elon Musk.

Although his exposure was only around four seconds (the shot was also quite dark because the lights were off), "Valorant" fans still noticed the billionaire.

Instead of cheering for the tech executive, they booed him. Business Insider reported that some attendees even chanted "Bring back Twitter" while the camera was pointed at Musk.

Jake Lucky, a popular esports reporter, posted the viral quickly. His X post garnered over 12 million views as of writing.

This just shows that many people are really disappointed with the rebranding made by Elon to Twitter.

However, Musk's fans also heckled back to support the billionaire against criticisms.

Despite the booing he received, Elon Musk still received support from his fans. The billionaire's supporters also heckled "Valorant" fans after the viral incident.

One of them said that getting booed by "Valorant" gamers is similar to getting wedgies by the anime club in middle school.

If you will check the comment section of Jake Lucky's X post, you will see that many X users are also backing up the billionaire.

"If it's normal to dunk on Elon, and it's cool to be contrarian, then it's actually cool to support Elon," said Calvin Kim.

Another X user, Brent Jordan, said that the incident is no longer surprising since the "Valorant" crowd has been an "L" in the game's journey.

Others said that the booing that Elon Musk received during the Valorant World Championship Final only made them like the X branding of Twitter even more.
