London's Metropolitan Police (Met) arrested two women on Monday (October 30) following its appeal to the public last week for three women as persons of interest for alleged terror offenses.

The Met said the two women, aged 29 and 44, recognized themselves in the published pictures and came forward to a police station on Monday.

Police are still looking for the third woman, who was seen in social media footage with an image of a paraglider on her clothing.

Paragliders were used by Hamas to overwhelm and initiate its invasion of southern Israel on October 7, including inside the Supernova music festival, which resulted in the death of over 200 people and the abduction of an unknown number of partygoers.

Thousands of civilians, both Palestinians and Israelis, have died since October 7, 2023, after Palestinian Hamas militants based in the Gaza Strip entered southern Israel in an unprecedented attack triggering a war declared by Israel on Hamas with retaliatory bombings on Gaza.

"She is described as dark-skinned, wearing light brown trousers and a long-sleeved red top," the Met said in its news release. "She initially had a blue denim jacket tied around her waist and later put this on over her red top. She is wearing a light blue medical face mask and a dark scarf or bandana around her head. She also has a dark red shoulder bag."

The Met was also asking the public's help to identify and locate a man seen waving a placard with the words "I fully support Hamas" on it during an October 21 protest.

Any person who might have information regarding the remaining persons of interest is urged to come forward.
