New York City Mom Issues Threat to Her 19-Year-Old Son's Killer: 'I Am Coming After All Of You'

'He went to church, was in no type of gang' his mother told reporters on-air

A 19-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in a car outside his Brooklyn home early Tuesday. The shooting took place at approximately 2:40 a.m. in front of 1112 East 104th St. near Avenue K in Canarsie, said police.

The victim, identified as Christian Montrose, was sitting in the driver's seat when he was shot in the mouth and torso before falling to the ground, according to PIX11 News.

He was rushed to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Montrose's cousin told PIX11 that the 19-year-old had just graduated from high school and hoped to get into the automotive industry for his love of cars.

"A great kid, he liked to work on cars, driving. This is very shocking for me. He went to school. He used to play basketball in front of the house. Surprised that this happened," he said.

The distraught mother of Christian Montrose voiced a message on-air to the assailant(s) who shot her son, warning, "I'm coming after all of you."

She went on to say Montrose went to church, was not in any sort of gang, had an affinity for cars, and drove for a living.

She recalled the last thing her son had said to her earlier that day, "Mommy, did I hug you for the day?"

Police are searching for a black four-door sedan. It remains unclear whether Montrose was the intended target and what the motive was.
