Natasha Hunt, a 24-year-old mother from Wisconsin, was caught abusing her toddler son on camera, only to later deny it ever happened.

The criminal complaint states that two women, one of whom is Hunt, were questioned by Niagara police about the live-streamed abuse of the child, and both denied posting any video or having any knowledge of the incident.

The Niagara Police Department was contacted by the Dickinson County Sheriff's Office and the Iron Mountain Police Department regarding potential child abuse that was streamed live on social media.

Police reviewed the footage from the August 2023 incident and said the video showed Hunt pulling her young child's hair "so hard that she was moving his head around" and that the child was saying "ow" repeatedly before he began to cry while sitting in a friend's lap.

Law enforcement revealed the two-year-old showed no signs of injury and said the child told police officers he was unhurt.

On Tuesday, Hunt was sentenced to one year in jail and three years on probation.

The mother pleaded guilty earlier this year to the child abuse charge, while a second charge for disorderly conduct was dismissed.

The second woman, Amara Burns, was also charged in the case, according to Fox 11 News.

Burns was convicted of battery on a police officer after she kicked the officer during her arrest and was placed on probation.
