L’Wren Scott Death Update: Fashion Designer’s Will Leaves Family with Nothing, $9M Estate Goes to Boyfriend Mick Jagger?

Fashion designer L'Wren Scott was laid to rest on Tuesday, Mar. 25 in a private ceremony at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles. The funeral was attended by some of Scott's family, her longtime boyfriend Mick Jagger and a few Hollywood stars.

According to the New York Daily News, Scott's ashes was split between her brother, Randall Bambrough, and Jagger. Bambrough told the newspaper that he had plans to take his sister's ashes back to their childhood home in Utah.

"She was cremated and I have some of her ashes," her brother said. "Some of those ashes, they will be buried near our parents here in Utah. And there will be a ceremony, date to be determined, in Utah for all family members who will have an opportunity to see their friends and others."

Bambrough said he wasn't sure what the rocker planned on doing with his half of the ashes.

"They're with the Jagger family. That's all I can say," Bambrough told the newspaper.

According to the Daily News, Bambrough had no knowledge of what Scott's will included but said he had heard that there was one. Reportedly she left her luxury Manhattan apartment, valued at $8 million, to Jagger as well as $1 million worth of other valuables.

Her family was left out of the will and got nothing.

"I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles, and other tangible articles of a personal nature... to Michael Philip Jagger," the will said, the Daily News reports.

Scott was found dead on Mar. 17 inside her Chelsea apartment. According to reports, the former model hung herself with a scarf. Her suicide shocked the Rolling Stones frontman, her family and the entire fashion community.
