Admirers of Liam Hemsworth will get more fodder for their fantasies after watching his upcoming movie "Paranoia".
In the movie, Hemsworth portrays the role of Adam Cassidy, a tech wiz, who is planted by Nicholas Wyatt (played by Gary Oldman) in his rival Jock Goddard's company to steal trade secrets (Goddard is played by Harrison Ford, sporting a shaved head).
The trailer offers a sneak peek of Hemsworth the hunk: for his "reinvention", as it's called, he's seen without a shirt before he suits up, and he and Amber Heard have some steamy scenes as well.
In an interview with Yahoo! Movies, Hemsworth spoke about his transformation for the role.
"I don't generally wear suits. It was an interesting life to live ... much different from anything I've done before. I think it makes you kind of look at the way that other people live - agents and managers and these kinds of people," said the 23-year-old actor.
For the Australian actor, acquiring an American accent that befitted Cassidy, who's from Brooklyn, was also on the task list.
"Every American film I do I use a [dialect] coach. We run through it all. We didn't go too heavy Brooklyn in this ... We just used little bits and pieces," said Hemsworth.
While Hemsworth varies his workout regime and what he eats for the roles he takes on - he lost 20 pounds for "The Hunger Games" and put it all back on for "The Expendables 2" - his body has been called one of the hottest of 2013 by Us Magazine. "I grew up surfing in Australia. I keep fit, I'm active and I eat very well," said the actor in an interview with Us. "I don't consider myself a heartthrob in any way, though. I'm just pinching myself."
Other people will testify to Hemsworth's heartthrob status. Amanda Bynes tweeted on June 4, "Liam Helmsworth is the most gorgeous man on the face of the earth other than Tanz Watson. FYi!" He joined Twitter officially on Wednesday (@LiamHemsworth is his handle) and already had 49,107 followers at last count, increasing by the minute. According to www.hollywoodlife.com, the reason he's not following fiancée Miley Cyrus (if they haven't broken up as some rumors allege), is because he'll be using his Twitter profile to promote his movies, rather than foster a social media addiction.
