Aspiring Playboy Model, Pilot Arrested In Drug Smuggling

An aspiring Playboy model and an airplane pilot were arrested on a drug bust earlier this month with thousands of dollars in cash and millions in Ecstasy pills and raw Molly.

Krista Boseley, 30, and Gilles Lapointe, 61, who are both Canadian citizens, were arrested in California after a tip from a seperate investigation said "that the aircraft or its occupants may be involved in smuggling of narcotics or currency."

The pair were both carrying a large sum of cash, luggage in the aircraft was filled with 50,000 Ecstasy pills and 40,000 grams of Molly (MDMA), and a GPS tracking detector that would alert someone if law enforcement had placed their own GPS tracking device on the plane, reports LA Times.

Lapointe and Boseley claimed the money was from a nigh of very successful gambling in Las Vegas, according to court documents. From the documents they appeared to not have an excuse for the luggage.

Boseley is an aspiring model who also worked as a real estate agent from Dec. 2011 to Jan. 2013. She appeared once at a Playboy opencall, although her Model Mayhem profile said she is not interested in nude photo shoots, according to Vancouver Sun, before her profile was taken down.

She and Lapointe are being charged with federal conspiracy to distribute drugs. They are scheduled to be arrainged Oct. 27.
