The Charlotte Hornets reportedly are willing to trade any player on their roster, including Lance Stephenson.  Grantland's Zach Lowe reported the Hornets are aggressively pursuing potential trades, and any player on the roster - except for Al Jefferson and Kemba Walker - is available for the right price.

After making the playoffs last season, Charlotte is off to a terrible start this year.  The Hornets are 4-14 and on a nine-game losing streak, which reportedly has general manager Rich Cho aggressively looking for a trade that could help turn around the season.

"The Hornets have been aggressive making trade calls, according to sources across the league," Lowe wrote Monday.  "The Hornets are searching for upgrades on the wing and at power forward, per those sources, and they are willing to talk turkey on basically anyone other than Kemba Walker and Al Jefferson.

"Free agents signed this past offseason can't be traded until December 15, and few would be surprised if the Hornets make and take calls on Lance Stephenson ahead of that trigger date."

Stephenson hasn't been the difference maker Charlotte hoped for when they signed him to a two-year deal worth $18 million in the offseason.  He's provided steady rebounding this season, his offense has been atrocious, shooting just 36.7 percent from the field and 18.4 percent from behind the 3-point line.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is another player who could attract suitors before the February trade deadline.  The 21-year-old small forward is averaging just 9.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, but he's proven to be a solid defender who has upside.
