Rashida Jones, the actress most known for her role as Ann Perkins on NBC's hit show "Parks and Recreation" has announced that she'll be leaving her role after this season. However, the actress won't be getting too far away from the small screen as she has been picked up for a script order for an hour long drama series called "The Revengers," which she'll produce along side her older sister Kidada Jones.

The show is about the lives of two estranged friends in their 20s who reunite in New York City when they learn they've both been dating the same guy. The duo concots a plan to get back at their cheating boyfriend. They're apparently so good at it that their project goes viral, giving them fame and a plan to seize the opportunity to set up a "revenge business" to help others seeking similar payback from unfaithful partners.

According to the Inquisitr, Rashida Jones will join her writing/producing partner Will McCornack in the project with the CW. Meanwhile, the two will work together to produce another show for Fox called "Stuck" from "Parks and Recreation" writer Alexandra Rushfield. The company has already committed to a pilot.

Kidada Jones has made a name for herself as a model, actress and fashion designer. "The Revengers" will be her first ever producing credit.

Recently, the two joined their friend, designer Scott Sternberg, for a series of photos released through the fashion line "Band of Outsiders'."

"My sister and I have known Scott for a long time and [have been] huge fans of Band for so long," Rashida told People Magazine. "We feel super honored to be a part of the fall campaign! We have such different styles and Scott's eye is such that we both find stuff that we love every season!"

Fans of Ann Perkins can see Jones' character for the next 13 episodes of the newest season of "Parks and Recreation" before she and co-star Rob Lowe exit for good.
