Actor Bug Hall is best known for his role as the adorable Alfalfa in the 1994 remake film "The Little Rascals." Now the star is all grown up, and his new look is what Buzzfeed calls "lumbersexual."
A staffer unearthed recent photos of Hall and they caught fire online because of the 30-year-old's rugged new outdoorsman look complete with a lush beard. Hall's assortment of messy hair, flannel shirts and facial hair is a subgenre of hipster style described as "lumberjack chic," a look that's the antithesis of 90s male trend "metrosexual."
"Just...those glasses. That flannel. He's obviously prepared to father your future children," Buzzfeed wrote in a description of a photo Hall posted to Instagram of himself holding a baby with the hashtag "#UncleBug."
Hall seemed to enjoy all of the attention and tweeted a selfie yesterday afternoon after his photos went viral.
"I guess weird stuff happened this morning. Here's another beard pic for you weirdos from buzzfeed," he wrote, with a winky face emoji.
Hall's recent TV credits include "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Masters of Sex," and "Revolution," according to IMDB. A clean-shaven Hall participated in Entertainment Tonight's 20th anniversary special where the cast of "The Little Rascals" reunited last year.
"Every moment of that movie was so locked into our memories," he told Entertainment Tonight. "It was such a big experience."
