Ronda Rousey on Body-Shamers: UFC Champ Slams Those Who Say Her Body is 'Masculine'

Ronda Rousey has made one thing clear: she's a fighter. Whether she's fighting in the ring or fighting against body-shamers for women everywhere, she's confident, and that's exactly what makes her the badass she really is.

After beating her UFC challenger Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds this past weekend and then getting picked to be Carl's Jr.'s new spokesperson, the 28-year-old fighter is on top of the world, but unfortunately there are still some online body-shamers trying to bring her down, according to People. She's proved on several different occasions just how body-confident she is, but people are still constantly criticizing her for her athletic frame, which they believe is "masculine."

"Ronda Rousey is disgustingly manly," one person tweeted before the big fight, according to ABC News. "How can people find her attractive?"

"Ronda Rousey is not sexy to me," another user wrote. "Her features are manly."

Rousey is not one to keep her mouth shut, especially when it comes to body-shaming, so she did what she does best and fought back.

"I'm just like, listen, just because my body was developed for a purpose other than f---ing millionaires doesn't mean it's masculine," she said in the latest episode of the video series "UFC Embedded," according to the Huffington Post. "I think it's femininely badass as f--k because there's not a single muscle on my body that isn't for a purpose. Because I'm not a do-nothing bitch. That's why I think it's hilarious when people say my body looks masculine or something like that."

She even recently opened up about her struggles with body image and how she felt her "strongest" and "most beautiful" at 150 pounds, rather than her fighting weight of 135 pounds.

"I grew up thinking that because my body type was common [i.e., athletic], it was a bad thing," she told Cosmoplitan. "Now that I'm older, I've really begun to realize that my body has developed for a purpose and not just to be looked at."

Yesterday, she posted a sexy Instagram of herself in short white shorts and a blue crop top, showing off her body while at a soccer game in Rio. In the photo, she's holding a bunch of stadium snacks, slamming these shamers once again.

"That moment when you realize life is great and you can eat all the hotdogs you want!" she captioned the photo. "Had a blast at my first soccer game with my family yesterday!!"
