If you were planning on going to Aretha Franklin's show on Friday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, you should probably start making other plans. The 73-year-old has cancelled the show due to exhaustion after travelling from Detroit to the West Coast for shows, The Associated Press reported.

Her recent performances include concerts in Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and Oakland.

"I thank all of my fans, friends and supporters who bought tickets. I hope to see you all soon," she said.

The Queen of Soul performed Monday night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif. The concert was her first in the Bay area after more than 40 years. "I just want to say what a treat it's been for me to come back to Oakland after all these years," Franklin told the crowd, according to San Jose Mercury News.

Franklin is scheduled to perform at Detroit's Chene Park on Aug. 22 and will be opening with The Isley Brothers. There has been no indication yet that that show will be affected, according to CBS Detroit.
