Congratulations to first-time mom Lucy Liu! The 46-year-old "Charlie's Angels" star welcomed her first child this week via gestational surrogate.

The new mama shared the first photo of her newborn son, Rockwell Lloyd Liu, on Twitter and Instagram. The black-and-white photo shows Liu cradling and beaming down at her son while sitting in a chair, with the caption, "Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In ♥."

"I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier," her rep told Us Weekly on Thursday. "Mom and baby are healthy and happy."

The "Elementary" star, who has kept quiet about her personal life, did not reveal that she was expecting a child via surrogate. In 2014, Liu was linked to hedge-fund billionaire Noam Gottesman.

"I don't have a settling-down time," she told USA Today in 2010 about her plans for motherhood. "I never feel like it's too early or too late for anything. I don't ever think for me that this traditional way is the way to go for me because I haven't had a traditional life."

The actress also joked that her biological clock is broken, saying, "Someone threw out the battery."
