NeNe Leakes will make a surprise appearance on season eight of Bravo's hit reality series "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," E! News reported. The OG of the "RHOC" will reportedly stir up drama for current cast members Kim Fields, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams.
Leakes will reportedly show up unannounced on the girls' trip to Jamaica, which is currently being filmed, according to production sources. The cast members are unaware that Leakes will make her return during their vacation, and it's unclear how many episodes Leakes will appear in during the upcoming season eight.
The original "RHOA" cast member, who also had a recurring role on "Glee," announced her departure from the reality series in June, as previously reported by HNGN. Leakes spent seven years as the star of the show but said in a statement that she would use her time away from the series to focus on new endeavors.
One of Leakes' projects was a new reality show with "RHOA" co-star Kim Zolciak called "The Road To Riches," but it was cancelled in July when Zolciak and Leakes "couldn't get on the same page," reported by HNGN.
Her other project is ABC's reboot of the classic game show "To Tell The Truth," and Leakes will star alongside Betty White and Anthony Anderson, HNGN reported. No word yet on when the game show will premiere.
Season eight of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is set to premiere on Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
