Corey and Miranda Simms, stars of MTV's "Teen Mom 2," have welcomed their first child together, Us Weekly reported. Miranda gave birth to the couple's new baby girl, Remington Monroe Simms, on Sunday, and the couple's family members have shared little Remi's first photos on social media.

"Remington Monroe surprised us this weekend with her early arrival. She and her mommy are doing well. I am hopelessly in love! #remi," Corey's dad and proud grandpa Jeff Simms wrote on Instagram along with a shot of the newborn.

Little Remi was born at 12:32 p.m. and weighs 4 pounds, 11 ounces, according to MTV News. The newborn arrived at 32 weeks, about eight weeks early, but Corey confirmed that mommy and baby are doing fine.

"We are so happy and excited," Corey told MTV News. "Miranda and the baby are both healthy and happy, and we can't wait for Ali & Aleeah to meet their little sister."

This marks the Simms' first child together. Corey has twin 5-year-old daughters, Ali and Aleeah, whom he shares with his ex-wife and fellow "Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer.

Corey and Miranda's little bundle of joy is newest addition to the family, and her arrival comes just weeks after Messer lost custody of the twins to Corey, as previously reported by HNGN. The ongoing, tense custody battle between the exes was documented on season six of the reality TV series.
