The Riders registered a comfortable nine-wicket win against the Chittagong Vikings on Tuesday, according to bdnews24. Opener Soumya Sarkar's superb half-century helped the Riders easily chase a low score of 111 runs set by the Vikings.
"We had a smaller target, so I tried to stay at the wicket till the very end. I told myself that I wouldn't leave the wicket early today. That's all I tried to do. I played fewer shots as well. I think the reason behind that was that I couldn't play more than ten balls in any of the last five matches. Today my target was to play as many balls as possible," Sarkar said after the match, according to The Daily Star.
On the other hand, the Bulls' winning streak continues in the tournament as the Barisal franchise thrashed the Dhaka Dynamites by nine wickets on Tuesday, according to Prothom Alo. Evin Lewis' unbeaten century in the T20 match powered the Bulls to the top of the T20 league.
