Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos found himself the subject of Donald Trump's latest tirade after the Republican presidential candidate accused him of using the Washington Post in order to receive tax deductions. Bezos, who is part owner of The Post and the space flight company Blue Origin, responded by offering Trump a seat aboard one of its rockets. It is not yet known whether the offer is a one-way ticket to space.

Trump's accusation came after the newspaper wrote an op-ed article detailing how fellow GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush can defeat Trump in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina by running negative campaign ads. Here is the link. Clearly irked, Trump immediately wrote a Twitter post blasting Bezos for his alleged use of The Post for a tax writeoff.

Trump's accusation is baseless since the Washington Post and Amazon are separate companies. Bezos owns the newspaper personally and its loss will not affect Amazon's tax, The Guardian reported. Later posts show Trump mocking each of these companies as losers. He then proceeded to tell his Twitter followers that he is good at winning. However, while Trump is worth around $4 billion, he trails behind Bezos, who is worth almost $60 billion, RT noted.

Trump is yet to post a Twitter reply to Bezos' offer.
