Adam Driver plays the new villain Kylo Ren in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and while the mask his character wears may look cool on screen, the actor told Conan O'Brien that he hated wearing it.

"It was terrible," Driver joked about the mask's sight limitations. "To this day, I still don't know who's in the movie because I haven't seen anybody. When you watch the original trilogy you see the Storm Troopers moving in uniform, but what you see is when one Storm Trooper just talking to a wall because he thinks it's a person."

Driver was a guest on "Conan" along with fellow "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor Oscar Isaac, who plays Poe Dameron in the film. Isaac told O'Brien that he and Driver's first day shooting the film was together and revealed that director J.J. Abrams told Driver to "try something different" when he heard the character voice that Driver had been practicing.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is out now.
