The New Year is off to a great start for "Pitch Perfect" co-stars Anna Camp and Skylar Astin. The couple announced over the holiday the exciting news that they got engaged!
"I asked. She said yes!!!" Astin, 28, captioned of a picture on Instagram that showed him and his future bride Camp, 33, as they smiled and showed off the gorgeous engagement ring.
Camp also shared the same picture on Instagram. "He asked. I said YES!!!!" she captioned the photo of the two vacationing in Hawaii.
Camp and Astin have been dating since June 2013, according to People, and both starred in the 2012 film "Pitch Perfect." The actress was previously married to an actor named Michael Mosley and divorced in 2013. While the pair was in "Pitch Perfect" together, they had apparently known each other for a while before they signed on to the film.
"They met through mutual friends and then worked together," a source told Us weekly at the time. The source also added that Camp and Astin were at first friends, but the relationship turned romantic after Camp split with her ex.
They "have amazing chemistry," the source added.
