After announcing a handful of gigs featuring key members of its original lineup, iconic hard rock band Guns N' Roses teased more upcoming tour dates set for this summer. Fans on social media began posting photos of cryptic billboards that popped up in various cities across the U.S., and then a teaser clip posted to the band's official Twitter page confirmed GN'R will visit 21 additional cities on its North American tour.

Rumors of an alleged reunion started swirling around the "Paradise City" rockers last fall, with industry insiders revealing that concert promoters started booking shows for the tour in November. In January, the group announced six dates that include two headlining spots at Coachella and two back-to-back gigs in Las Vegas with opening act Alice in Chains.

But a video clip posted to Guns N' Roses' official Twitter account teased fans with the names of additional cities the band plans to visit. The teaser opens with a shot of an arena full of fans cheering to a dimly lit stage while an instrumental version of the band's 1988 hit "Patience" plays over the footage. The message "Patience" and then "Coming Summer 2016" followed by the names of the 21 cities scrolls across a black background in yellow letters with the hashtag #GnFnR.

Guns N' Roses' publicist confirmed that the band plans to perform concerts in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Mo., Nashville, Tenn., New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Fla., Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Mo., Toronto and Washington, D.C.

The news confirmed fans' assumptions after spotting Guns N' Roses billboards in their cities, which they posted photos of on Twitter.

"Hey Orlando this is what those @gunsnroses billboards look like," Twitter user Jason Ferguson tweeted along with a photo of a billboard that read "Welcome to the Jungle."

"Billboard by the waterfront #GNR #Pittsburgh...," Twitter user Joe H. wrote along with a blurry shot of a billboard that read "Paradise City."

Founding members Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan are all confirmed for the reunion. Former guitarist Izzy Stradlin stated that he will not be reuniting with the group. Dates for the 21 summer tour stops have yet to be announced.
