The Miami Dolphins' new uniforms leaked to the public on Tuesday.

According to the Bleacher Report, the Dolphins planned to reveal their new uniforms for the 2013 NFL season at the NFL draft on Thursday.

Those plans have been foiled.

Paul Lukas of UniWatch, an online site dedicated to analyzing sports uniforms, unveiled the Dolphins' new threads to the world online.

The leak stemmed unintentionally from the unveiling of the Jacksonville Jaguars' uniform on Tuesday. According to Lukas, a local Jacksonville TV station took photos of the new Jaguars uniform at the Nike headquarters weeks ago. Once the new uniforms were officially revealed, the TV station published a slideshow online of the images they had taken at Nike.

The new Dolphins uniform showed in the background of one of the images.

The new uniforms do not look radically different from the previous uniforms. Miami kept to their orange and aqua color scheme, but the uniforms look much sleeker in the style Nike introduced when they took over making the NFL's uniforms.

This isn't the first time that social media has thwarted the organization's plans. Earlier this month, a picture of the team's new logo leaked online. The classic orange and aqua logo of a dolphin appearing to jump in the air was replaced by a newer, sleeker image of a dolphin that looks to be swimming.

The same slideshow that spoiled the Dolphins' planned unveiling for Thursday night also spoiled the Minnesota Vikings' identical plan: their uniforms were also caught in the photographs.

Despite the premature unveiling to the public, the Dolphins likely will still show the new uniforms on Thursday night during the NFL draft.
