Will Smith plays the role of an ordinary man trying to fight his demons in an upcoming drama "Collateral Beauty."

Rolling stone reported that Smith plays the character of Howard, who is a brilliant advertising executive that reportedly distances himself from the world after the demise of his daughter.

As he disconnects from the world, he begins to write letters to "time, love, and death."

The report said that the twist in the tale is when time, love and death manifest into physical entities. A scene shows Smith peering into a support group but does not go in. He said that he has to fix his mind in the emotional trailer.

Rolling stones added that he reveals that he has been speaking to death(played by Helen Mirren), love(essayed by Keira Knightley), and time (portrayed by Jacob Latimore)

According to the wrap, "Collateral Beauty" also stars Naomie Harris, Edward Norton, Michael Pena and Kate Winslet, with David Frankel as the director.

Allan Loen reportedly wrote the screenplay and produces the film along with Bard Dorros and Michael Sugar. Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow are reportedly releasing "Collateral Beauty" in theatres on Dec. 16.

In The Wrap report, Smith said at the beginning of the trailer that he is here to connect with Love, Time and Death. He goes on to say that those three things connect every single human being on Earth. He says that all of us long for love, wish we had more time, and fear death.

The same report quoted from Naomie Harris's character who tells Smith that he has been given a gift, which is the profound connection to everything. Naomie Harris goes on to say that all Smith needs to do is to look for it, and promised that it would be there, which she called the "Collateral Beauty".
