Samsung, the South Korean tech giant, is enticing app developers with a massive $9 million program in the form of incentives for top app developers.

In a report published by Techtimes.com, Samsung is launching an app development plan for Tizen operating system from February to October next year.

The plan is in the form of an incentive of $10,000 to each of the 100 top Tizen Mobile app developers each month. Top developers will be decided based on the highest number of downloads accruing to the credit of the developer.

The scheme will open in January for registration. At the end of the scheme, there will be 900 Tizen Mobile app developers lapping up the $9 million total incentive package.

Conditions for participation in the scheme include developing apps or games with Tizen SDK & Tools meant for Samsung devices Z1, Z2, Z3 that are run on Tizen OS. Participating developers need to register their apps at the sales office of a Tizen Store.
