Queen Elizabeth allegedly canceled a royal engagement with Prince Andrew to clear her calendar for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Lilibet's, birthday.

Royal palace staff are working hard to keep the Queen's diary clear so that she has the time and energy to visit Lilibet, who was born in the United States last year and has yet to meet her royal family.

Queen Elizabeth Changes Jubilee Plan To Meet Lilibet

According to Palace insiders, the Queen has the option of canceling her attendance at the Epsom Derby with Andrew, something she was previously thought to be quite pleased about.

It occurs as three of the Queen's horses are claimed to have withdrawn from the race, while the Queen herself is at Balmoral for a little rest before the start of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations this weekend.

According to sources, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are organizing a first birthday party for Lilibet at Frogmore Cottage on June 4, and the Queen does not want to miss out on the festivities, as per The News.

Despite being named in her honor, Queen Elizabeth, 96, has never met Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 11-month-old baby. The Queen has also had episodic movement issues over the previous six months and was photographed using a stroller at the Chelsea Flower Show last week.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be residing with their family at Frogmore Cottage, a 10-minute walk from Windsor Castle, after surprisingly renewing the lease at the residence where they spent an unpleasant six months before departing as senior royals and coming to America.

Meghan Markle will be returning to the UK for the first time since the couple's interview with Oprah Winfrey sparked explosive charges that the Royal Family is racist. Buckingham Palace is expected to disclose which activities the Queen would attend to honor her 70th year on the throne on the day. It is expected that she will be spotted on the Buckingham Palace balcony for her traditional Trooping the Colour birthday procession.

Prince Andrew To Join in Queen Elizabeth's Jubilee Service

She is also expected to attend Friday's Thanksgiving Service at St Paul's Cathedral with her family, which includes disgraced son Prince Andrew, who is still reeling from allegations that he paid to settle a civil sexual assault case brought against him by Jeffery Epstein sex slave Virginia Giuffre, 38, according to National Post.

Apart from the Queen, the Firm believes the scandal-hit Duke of York, who has seldom been seen in public since his mother deprived him of his HRH title and several patronages and affiliations, should remain silent.

But Prince Andrew is thought to be keen to make up for the embarrassment he imposed on the Royal Family by paying daily visits to his mother. He has been traveling five miles from his residence in Royal Lodge to Windsor Castle to see his mother for pre-launch to ensure she is comfortable and well-cared for.

The Duke has firmly denied Guiffre's charges in front of the New York court. The payment is not an admission of guilt. It comes as it was revealed that Prince Andrew would attend Garter Day at Windsor Castle with the Queen on June 13.

However, he will not appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee festivities because the queen stated that the privilege would be reserved solely for working members of the family. The decision is sure to raise eyebrows among royal observers, who are concerned that Prince Andrew will take center stage, Express reported.
