Long before it claimed no previous knowledge of the raid on Donald Trump's properties, the Biden White House collaborated closely with the Justice Department and the National Archives to launch the criminal investigation into potential document mismanagement.
According to contemporaneous government records acquired by Just the News, the Biden administration allegedly permitted the FBI to analyze material seized from Mar-a-Lago this spring and erased the 45th president's claims to executive privilege.
Biden Administration Helps DOJ's Probe Against Trump
The documents reveal that as early as April, then-White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su was in contact with the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives, shortly after 15 boxes of classified and other records were voluntarily returned to the federal historical agency from Trump's Florida estate.
By May, Su had informed the Archives that President Joe Biden would not object to waiving his predecessor's executive privilege claims, a judgment that allowed the DOJ to request that a grand jury issued a subpoena ordering Trump to turn over any leftover records from his administration. Several documents and emails passed between the different agencies in spring 2022, months before the FBI took the further extraordinary step of searching Trump's Florida estate with a court-issued search warrant, outline the intrigues.
The most comprehensive description was given in a lengthy letter issued to Trump's attorneys on May 10 by interim National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall outlining the White House's involvement. The DOJ had no legal authority to analyze those materials, but Biden worked with them and the National Archives to eliminate all legal impediments to the present investigation of Trump.
It's the Russian collusion fraud all over again, except this time the hook is a letter from Biden's counsel nuking a former president's executive privilege. The concept is the same; and more importantly, the purpose is the same: to remove Trump by whatever means necessary.
The clear conclusion here is that the Biden administration lied when they stated that they had no participation in the DOJ's investigation of Trump based on these data. They did because it was their actions that allowed it to develop in the first place, and they were aware of the DOJ's intentions from the start.
Rather than the following tradition, Joe Biden took the unprecedented step of exploiting executive privilege to target his chief political opponent to lay the groundwork for a criminal inquiry. Joe Biden Has Yet To Comment on FBI's Mar-a-Lago Raid
President Biden has chosen to keep silent amid a storm of controversy over the FBI's extraordinary raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.
On Monday, it will have been two weeks since FBI agents raided the private residence in Palm Beach, Florida, and discovered classified and top secret material amid boxes of paperwork. President Joe Biden has yet to respond to the raid, which was the first of its type involving a former president. Republicans have accused Biden of using the Department of Justice to target his predecessor, who is expected to run for president again in 2024.
