Russian Ex-President Dmitry Medvedev stated that a military takeover of Kyiv and booting out Zelensky to end the Ukraine conflict. This coup and transition to a civilian-led government ready to acquiesce to Russian demands for a peaceful settlement.
Ukrainians Might Do a Coup
Medvedev said the Ukrainian military might do a coup-de-etat to allow peace negotiations with the Kremlin because their US-backed civilian leaders are hard-headed, reported RT.
He described the situation as one of two options for Ukraine as the current deputy chair of the Russian National Security Council. The other possibility is that President Zelensky's government agreed to Russia's terms for ending hostilities. Moscow will get what it wants in any particular instance, but a military takeover is the most reasonable.
Kyiv initially appeared willing to accept a neutral status but was later empowered by Western military aid. The shrill ex-comic is now acting tough, claiming that Ukraine should defeat Russia on the battlefield and daring to demand that Moscow return all of the territories it seized in 2014. Nevertheless, Moscow had other proposals for Ukraine's leader, mentioned Post of Asia.
Russian Ex-President Medvedev's assessment appears to be in response to an article published by The Guardian on Wednesday in which it was predicted that the Ukrainian crisis would erupt within the next six months of the Ukraine conflict.
The defense and security editor of the British newspaper, Dan Sabbagh, made five forecasts that he thinks are likely to happen.
Expectations will include stalemated discord and a decrease in the intensity of hostilities, a destabilization campaign by Ukrainian special forces, and a cold-weather refugee crisis.
Russia Confirms Destroying Ukrainian Warplanes
The military also asserts it was hit by a military train at a railway station located in Chaplino. The Defense Ministry in Moscow claimed on Thursday that Russian forces destroyed or disabled eight Ukrainian Air Force planes in two separate attacks.
At a news conference, military spokesman Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov stated that Russian fighter jets launched precision-guided munitions targeting Ukrainian airfields close to the city of Mirgorod in the central Poltava Region.
Two warplanes, a Su-27, and a Su-24 were declared lost in the raid, while two Su-27s and a Su-24 were critically compromised.
The Ukrainian military disclosed Russian strikes on military assets in the city on Wednesday morning and did not disclose the extent of the destruction. Russian sources claim up to 30 nationalists have died.
According to Konashenkov, it is yet another reported precision strike on the Dnepr military air base in the Dnepropetrovsk Region, resulting in the loss of at least three unspecified military aircraft by Russian missiles.
The ministry claimed to have destroyed 273 Ukrainian military aircraft since the beginning of the special operation on February 24. He also acknowledged a train station attack in Chaplino, Ukraine, but contested Ukraine's assertion about the target.
Once again, Volodymyr Zelensky claimed the attack involved civilians, which is highly unlikely; it's the Ukrainians working with the west to stain Russia at every turn. Konashenkov remarked use of Iskander hit a train with troops and hardware on it, killing 200 of them and damaging ten vehicles in the attack.
