While posing for a photo with the teenager and her pals at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California, on Friday, President Joe Biden appeared to grasp a young girl by the shoulder and advise her, "no serious guys till you're 30."

The president went to the community college to meet with senior citizens and promote his administration's initiatives to lower inflation and lower prices.

Teen Seemingly Nervous During Biden's Creepy Action

He stood to take pictures with some of the people who had gathered to hear his speech, though, as the visit came to a conclusion. The president gave dating tips in addition to discussing how to reduce prescription medicine costs and stop inflation.

Biden got up to pose for a picture with the girl. Before giving the girl the "fatherly" relationship advise, he appeared to sniff her hair. The girl laughs nervously and looks back at the commander-in-chief, who keeps his hands on her shoulder. The girl seems to be truly uncomfortable.

Per Daily Mail, reporter Kalen D'Almeida caught the unsettling moment and later shared it on Twitter. D'Almeida observed that throughout the awkward encounter, a secret service agent appeared to try to prevent him from filming.

The exact same dating advise was given by Biden in March to a group of third-grade schoolgirls who were eight years old. He said, "The only thing I want you girls to remember, no serious guys 'til you're 30 years old."

Many Twitter users found the president's Friday actions to be incredibly uncomfortable. The bizarre behavior is the most recent in Biden's 50 years in politics.

Biden has a history of saying outrageous things about women and girls. In advance of the Iowa caucuses in May 2020, Biden gave a speech at a campaign event and kissed his teenage granddaughter on the lips.

The former vice president was seen holding the hand of Finnegan, who was 19 at the time, as they made their way to a campaign event at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Biden received criticism for his "creepy" remarks about a young girl during an address at a Virginia military base the following year, in May 2021.

Biden's South Carolina Speeches

Meanwhile, Biden promised a community college audience in Southern California that he was committed to doing much more on Friday in an effort to reassure Americans hurt by high inflation that his administration was striving to keep health care costs down.

However, his comments in Irvine, California, the first of two speeches on the West Coast focused on healthcare prices, come just days after official data showed that overall inflation is still high as voters get ready to cast ballots in the upcoming midterm elections early next month.

According to surveys, Americans are extremely dissatisfied with the effect that significant price increases are having on their finances. With the majority of observers anticipating that Democrats would lose control of one or both chambers of Congress, they are likely to criticize the president and his party in the upcoming elections.

Speaking to a supportive audience, Biden contended that if Republicans were elected, they would raise costs. He made notice of their opposition to his efforts to permit Medicare to negotiate prescription prices, which he claimed would drive down costs for millions of seniors' medications. He further claimed that Democrats had forced through price limitations on essential medications like insulin, NY Times reported.

Moreover, while ordering takeaway from a taco eatery in Los Angeles on Thursday, Biden dismissed California's $7 per gallon gas price, claiming "that's always been the case" and erroneously linking it to housing.

Without going into detail, Biden stated that housing was "the most important item" in relation to gas prices, despite the fact that, according to AAA, gas prices in California actually increased 39% over the previous year to an average of $6.20 per gallon.

It's unclear if Biden, who will turn 80 in a month, intended to make a more direct connection between the two topics before a separate reporter's inquiry broke off his response, but his reaction caught people's attention in light of recent gaffes, as per NY Post.
