While meeting with soldiers, Russian President Vladimir Putin displayed what seemed to be intravenous (IV) track marks on his hands, which led to suspicions that he was receiving cancer treatment.

Last week, the Russian Ministry of Defense published a video that showed the country's president supervising training while being joined by numerous soldiers.

Vladimir Putin Cancer Rumors

At one clip, Putin can be seen practicing shooting a sniper rifle while sporting ear protection and spectacles. Putin gets to his feet and reaches out with a hand that has a mark on it to grip the arm of one of the soldiers, as per Fox News.

Two films from the ministry were tweeted by a reporter for the Ukrainian news site Kyiv Post; one had multiple watermarks that made it difficult to see Putin's hands, while the other lacked a sight of his hands. The rest of the video shows soldiers engaging in military drills and Putin surveying a row of soldiers while conversing with a reserve member.

Putin's health has already been questioned, and since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, speculations about his deteriorating health have gained traction. The Kremlin, though, has quickly put an end to such speculations, dismissing stories on many occasions only this year.

It has been suggested that the unexplained symbol may "simply be a strange angle of bulgy veins." One retired neurosurgeon said it was "sclerotic veins from several IV catheters," while another suggested it may be a bite mark.

It occurs amid persistent rumors that the Russian dictator travels with a medical staff due to Parkinson's disease and a rare malignancy. Earlier last month, at a parade in Moscow's Red Square to celebrate breaching international law to seize four areas of Ukraine, Putin seemed to be clearly in anguish.

The sick autocrat had a frenzied appearance, red face, and swollen cheeks. According to an unverified allegation from the Telegram channel General SVR, Putin "complained of excruciating discomfort in the abdominal cavity, which could not be promptly halted, and he held the conference leaning forward, attempting to preserve a natural posture" before a crucial war rooms meeting.

Even as late as last week, when he met with Belarus tyrant Alexander Lukashenko in Sochi, the Russian strongman was observed to be in discomfort. The broadcaster said: "Putin's oncology is developing, and despite recent effective therapy, the pain is occasionally only partially eased, according to The Sun,

"It is important to realize that the president's poor physical and mental health has an impact on how important choices are made." Putin wants to put a stop to history, not modify it. The network has long alleged that Putin has a schizoaffective condition, early Parkinson's disease, and stomach cancer among other severe ailments.

Western sources have made assertions concerning Putin's health, most notably ex-MI6 director Sir Richard Dearlove, who claimed the Russian president may be committed to a mental asylum and will pass away by 2023 as a result of health problems. Putin's illness was said to be "dramatically worsening," according to political scientist Valery Solovey, last month. Additionally, he said that Putin's private medical issues had affected his assessment of the conflict.

Putin's Relatives Express Concern Over Health Issue

Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin's relatives are reportedly worried about his frequent nausea, coughing fits, and lack of appetite after the Russian president apparently got a medical test over the weekend.

According to Telegram channel General SVR, which has long claimed he is suffering from cancer despite the Kremlin's insistence that he is in good health, his circle is concerned that his "thinness and persistent cough" are becoming noticeable and will be perceived by the elites in Russia as a "sign of the leader's rapidly deteriorating health."

The channel, which claims to have insider contacts in the Kremlin, reported that the Russian president had dropped 18lbs recently despite seeming noticeably fat and puffy in the face. Per Daily Mail, during a meeting with deputy prime minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Putin seemed uneasy, swallowing coughs and speaking in hushed, labored tones.

During a debate on the availability of sports in the Ukrainian territories he seized from Ukraine, he accidentally coughed once, but immediately resumed speaking as though attempting to hide his tracks and get the conversation moving.
