Following the publication of information by House Republicans showing how the former business partner of the president's son was associated with the Chinese Communist Party, the former acting attorney general Matthew Whitaker said that Hunter Biden was "part of a Chinese spy effort."

Whitaker, former President Donald Trump's appointee, told Fox News, "there is no doubt that Hunter Biden was part of a Chinese intelligence mission that was seeking to acquire as much information as possible about Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and the whole Biden family."

Hunter Biden Accused of Being a 'Spy' For China

His interview came days after House Republicans revealed proof that JiaQi "Jackie" Bao had previously worked for the Chinese Communist Party at a body that oversees projects with foreign funding before becoming Hunter Biden's business partner and close friend.

Whitaker stated that he has always believed that the case against Hunter Biden raises it to a higher level of a case. Whitaker explained that in addition to the type of simply the conventional political corruption that is contained within it, there is also this national security risk, as per Just The News.

Meanwhile, recently discovered images show a meeting between Vladimir Putin and the Chinese business associate of the Biden family. Zang Jianjun served as executive director of the Chinese oil company CEFC, which collaborated with Jim and Hunter Biden in a deal that brought the First Family millions of dollars.

Zang was in frequent communication with Chinese President Xi Jinping, according to text conversations acquired by DailyMail.com, and the Chinese leader approved of his collaboration with the Bidens.

When brokering a big $9.1 billion agreement to purchase a stake in the Russian state-owned oil company Rosneft in 2017, Zang even flew to Moscow with Xi and met with Putin. In early that year, Zang was photographed in Budapest, Hungary, with Putin.

They were seen together at Putin's favorite sporting event, the World Judo Championships, and enjoying drinks with Viktor Orbán, the prime minister of Hungary.

Hunter Biden Business Associate Directly Linked to Xi Jinping, Vladimir Putin

Hunter Biden was aware of his Chinese business partner's direct connections to the leaders of China and Russia, two nations that are frequently cited as the US's worst enemies.

In a May 2017 text message, the First Son informed his American CEFC partners that Zang was "coming to be my partner to be partners with the Bidens" and that Zang "implied that the #1 has made that obvious and available to him."

According to a listener in the chat, Hunter's code word for Xi was "#1." Text conversations exchanged between Tony Bobulinski and Hunter Biden as well as with James Gilliar, Hunter Biden's British business partner in his CEFC contract, have been made public, further exposing Zang's tight contact with the Chinese leader.

On July 4, 2017, Gilliar contacted Bobulinski to let him know Zang was "in Moscow with Xi." According to a source familiar with the CEFC transaction, they were in charge of setting up the historic purchase of the Rosneft share, which was completed three months later.

In September 2017, CEFC agreed to pay $9.1 billion to purchase 14.2% of Rosneft from the Qatari sovereign wealth fund and the international oil company Glencore. A loan from the state-owned VTB bank in Russia was supposed to cover a portion of the cost of the acquisition.
