The attorney for the IRS whistleblower who claims the Biden administration is mishandling the federal investigation into Hunter Biden said on Thursday that his client is "not a political person" and does not have a "political agenda."

However, he has documents to support his allegations, which he intends to present to Democrats and Republicans in Congress. The whistleblower's attorney, Mark Lytle, discussed his client's allegations in an interview with Bret Baier of Fox News' 'Special Report' on Thursday evening.

IRS Whistleblower to Unveil Biden Administration's Failure

Chris Clark, the attorney for Hunter Biden, stated earlier on Thursday that it appears Lytle's client "has committed an offense." When prompted for a response, Lyle stated that it was regrettable that the remark had been made.

In addition, Lytle stated that Clark's statement does not "assist whistleblowers in general," even though Congress has programs to "shed light" on misconduct. Lytle characterized Clark's statement as menacing and emphasized that it is "unfortunate that it was made."

Meanwhile, Lytle stated that he and his client have received outreach from congressional committees and are engaged in a "constructive" dialogue about "next actions." Lytle emphasized, however, that his client expressed a desire to present the information to Congress before a bipartisan commission.

Due to tax confidentiality and privacy laws, Lytle explained that his client could not share the information with his legal team. Lytle stated that the protected disclosures "contradict congressional testimony given under oath by a senior political appointee" and involve "a failure to mitigate evident conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition of the case."

According to reports, the senior political appointee may be referring to Attorney General Merrick Garland and his March - and 2016 - testimony on Capitol Hill in which he emphasized that US Attorney for Delaware David Weiss can conduct the Hunter Biden investigation independently.

Republicans assert that the Biden administration directly interferes with the investigation, while the White House vehemently denies this. Ohio Republican Congressman Mike Turner warned the Biden family that his party wants its investigation.

This would constitute obstruction of justice and be prosecuted in Congress, Turner told Fox News earlier on Thursday. The 63-year-old House intelligence committee chairman added, "In the end, we will discover questionable transactions and undoubtedly questionable activities."

Comer chairs the oversight committee in the House of Representatives. It is the elected body's primary investigative committee. Earlier this week, he asserted that nine Biden family members have profited from their connections to the president.

Hunter Biden Investigation

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, who conducted a four-year investigation into the Biden family, accused them of engaging in "influence-peddling scams." Presumably, the IRS whistleblower's testimony will ultimately result in the Bidens receiving equal justice.

However, the White House denied the allegations earlier Thursday. The press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, stated, "The president respects the rule of law and the independence of the Department of Justice."

On Wednesday, the New York Post reported that IRS investigators are examining a $2 million loan that Hunter Biden allegedly took out. It is said that he used it to pay a tax obligation on foreign-earned income.

The newspaper also reported that the anonymous whistleblower is willing to depose before the House of Representatives and make his claims public. The business dealings of Hunter Biden have long irritated members of the Republican Party, who accuse the president's son of using his family connections to secure lucrative contracts abroad.

The veteran lobbyist previously had business interests in China and Ukraine but denies any malfeasance. The ex-Navy reservist who was discharged in 2014 for testing positive for cocaine was once again in the news last week. Although White House officials insisted he would not attend official events, he participated in the president's recent trip to Ireland.

Per Daily Mail, since Joe Biden's election, the administration has insisted that the president never discusses his business dealings with his son and has no involvement in them. According to sources close to the president, he has never discussed investigations into his family members with the United States Department of Justice.
