VP Kamala Harris announced Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz as her running mate on Tuesday and netizens were quick to find an image of him holding a firearm posing together with his dog in an effort to mock Republicans.

Walz is a progressive, U.S. Army National Guard veteran who served the military for 24 years.

In the image discovered by users on X, we see Walz with a firearm in hand and X users are calling him a 'California Liberal.
