France already owns a spot in the round of 16 and can cement their position atop the Group E standings with either a win or a draw on Wednesday. Their fast-paced attacking style has already netted them eight goals through two games, and although they're guaranteed a spot in the knockout round, France defender Mathieu Debuchy insists his team won't let up now.

"We need to avoid taking our foot off the gas even if there is not a huge amount at stake," Debuchy said, via FIFA.com. "We want to win this match and maintain our positive dynamic in order to prepare well for what is to come."

France's play, which has given them a plus six goal differential, even has famed France player Thierry Henry believing the 2014 squad has "the quality to do well and lift trophies."

The quality of the French team isn't lost on Ecuador, either.

"They scored eight goals in one match [an 8-0 rout of Jamaica in a World Cup warm-up]," Ecuador midfielder Christian Noboa said. "Scoring a goal in a World Cup is difficult and scoring eight, that gives you a guide to what France are all about."

Ecuador midfielder Enner Valencia agreed with his teammate and knows they must play a perfect game for a chance at getting a result against France.

"They're going to be very difficult opponents," Valencia said, "we know France's strengths but we're going to have to take care if we want to hurt them."

Ecuador sits No. 2 in the group with Switzerland trailing by a two-goal difference.
