Danica Patrick and boyfriend Ricky Stenhouse Jr. were involved in a crash together on Sunday during NASCAR's Coca-Cola 600. The race also had both Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch sidelined after their engines failed.

With 64 laps remaining, Stenhouse pushed into the side of Patrick's car. She then clipped Brad Keselowski's car and sent them both crashing into the wall, according to Sporting News. After the race, Keselowski took the blame.

"I just cut Danica off," he said. "I didn't know she was still down there and I caused a big wreck. ... I cut her off and wrecked her and myself. I feel bad for her and I send my apologies."

Keselowski, who won the Sprint Cup in 2012, made headlines earlier in the year for describing Patrick as "someone that hasn't won races or proved that she is competitive."

Keselowski was finished for the day after his wreck, but Patrick and Stenhouse were able to continue. Patrick wrecked again later on and was unable to finish the race, and Stenhouse finished in 14th place.

Earnhardt Jr. and Busch also had a bad outing at the Coca-Cola 600. Both their motors failed on lap 460, USA Today reports. Busch had been leading for much of the race and became frustrated when his engine blew.

"I've got more (freaking) blowups than I do wins," he said angrily over the team radio.

Earnhardt Jr., who was in the middle of the pack for much of the night, was also unable to continue after his engine blew.

"I smelled something burning. Started losing power on the last lap and felt something broke," he told Fox after the race. "We didn't have really good car. Just hope everybody is OK..."

Kevin Harvick went on to win the race. Kasey Kahne and Kurt Busch finished second and third, respectively.
