Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has once again snagged the top spot on Forbes' list of the Highest-Paid Models in the World.
Gisele Bündchen was first named the highest-paid model in the world by Forbes in 2002. The Brazilian model has succeeded in holding onto the title eight years in a row. Forbes has crowned her with the title yet again this year.
According to Forbes, the 34-year-old wife of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and mother of two young children earned an estimated $47 million before taxes and fees in the last 12 months. Doutzen Kroes and Adriana Lima were placed in second and third, but Bündchen out-earned them by a whopping $39 million. The website also reported that the Brazilian beauty earned $16 million more than her husband.
Most of her earnings come from lucrative contracts for H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Grendene. She also earns a significant amount for being the face of Pantene hair products, as well as Oral-B. She's also got her own line of lingerie named Gisele Bundchen Intimates, which earned her $5 million more this year than it did in 2013.
Kroes and Lima have earnings of $8 million each. British model Kate Moss, the face of luxury jeweler David Yurman, was also among the top earners, bringing in $7 million, as did American model and Sports Illustrated cover girl Kate Upton. She is a newcomer to the list, and rounded out the top five models.
Other newcomers to the list of the 21 highest paid models who earned a combined total of $142 million include English model Cara Delevingne and American Karlie Kloss. Check out Forbes' World's Highest-Paid Models 2014 below:
