First announced in July by Mindy Kaling and Carson Daly, the nominees for this year's awards show include Bryan Cranston and AMC's "Breaking Bad", Taylor Schilling and Netflix's "Orange Is the New Black", Jon Hamm and AMC's "Mad Men", and Lena Dunham and HBO's "Girls."

HBO's celebrated fantasy television series "Game of Thrones" received 19 nominations, the most out of any program. It is up for honors including Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for Peter Dinklage, and Outstanding Drama Series.

Whether "Game of Throne"s wins out, or falls to its big competitors such as "Breaking Bad" or "Downton Abbey", will be seen on Monday, Aug. 25, when the Seth Meyers-hosted 66th Primetime Emmy Awards air at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on NBC.
