Apple has stopped selling its iPod Classic following its unveiling of the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch on Tuesday.
No announcement was made about the device's passing, with the Cupertino, California-based tech giant simply pulling the product from its website, according to The Huffington Post. The iPod shuffle, iPod nano and iPod touch are currently the only devices available in the iPod section of the site.
The original iPod made its debut in October 2001, featuring 5 GB of storage at the time, which let users store around 1,000 songs.
The device would eventually be updated with 160 GB to store even more songs, and would also receive the "Classic" suffix, Slate reported.
The move ends the near 13-year history of the Classic. Rumors started in 2011 about Apple ending its run with the device. However, fans were able to keep the Classic alive for a few more years.
