ABC's "Mistresses" is moving on without Alyssa Milano.

The former "Charmed" actress announced she is stepping down from the hit summer series, just one day after the network announced the show's renewal for a third season.

Milano took to Twitter and Facebook to share a link explaining that after the show moves production from L.A. to Vancouver next season, she will have to step down due to personal reasons.

"After two wonderful seasons in Los Angeles, the studio has decided to shoot season three of Mistresses in Vancouver, Canada for financial reasons," she wrote. "It's with a heavy heart that I have decided that I can't relocate. I have two babies under 4. Being a mother and wife comes first, and I just cannot uproot my children and separate the family by moving away."

She added: "I will miss this job desperately and wish everyone the absolute best."

It is unclear whether Milano's character on the show will be recast or written off. The season two finale drew 3.5 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. The show stars Rochelle Aytes, Yunjin Kim, Jes Macallan, Jason George and Brett Tucker.

The show ended with several cliffhangers, including Milano's character's Savi about to walk in on her ex-husband and sister sharing a passionate moment.
