So the rumors about a new Beyonce album were half true. The internet went crazy over the weekend when a leaked "release confirmation" revealed that the 33-year-old singer was planning to drop a surprise album, titled "Beyonce Volume 2."

According to the document, the new album would include old and new songs, DVD copies of her "Mrs. Carter World Show Tour" and her "On The Run Tour" with husband Jay Z, and new music videos. The "release" said the album was due out Nov. 25.

Beyonce didn't respond to the rumors, but according to Rolling Stone, it's now been confirmed that the "Diva" singer is scheduled to release new music. Supposedly, Beyonce is releasing the "Platinum Edition" of her self-titled album which includes the original "Beyonce" album, two new songs - "7/11" and "Ring Off" - plus four new remixes, a 2015 mini calendar and a behind-the-scenes DVD of her solo world tour.

The "Platinum Edition" is due to be released Nov. 24. Not mentioned to appear on the "Platinum Edition" but was on the release conformation document are the new songs "DONK" featuring Nicki Minaj, "Good in Good Bye," "Loyal," "Renouncement" with Justin Timberlake, "Sensation of Pain," "Fashion," "KO," "True" and "Cherry" featuring Rihanna.

According to reports, Twitter user @GagaLovesBey - which is where the release confirmation originated - admitted on Tuesday the entire "Beyonce Volume 2" story was a hoax.
