Kansas City Royals teammates Salvador Perez, Eric Hosmer and Alex Gordon all received their second consecutive Gold Glove on Tuesday night. But the story of the night was Yadier Molina - he received his seventh consecutive Gold Glove award to join Ivan Rodriguez and Johnny Bench as the only catchers to win seven in a row.
Each position winner is selected by managers and coaches throughout the league. The MLB introduced a sabermetric component last year to help out with the selection process, but it's still ways away from playing a role.
