Telltale Games Tweets About 'Game of Thrones' Title 'Iron From Ice'

Yet another tease for Telltale Games' upcoming version of "Game of Thrones" hit Twitter today. The tweet says that "Iron From Ice" will be six episodes long and premiering "soon." Check it out below:

Six episodes would make the series the longest yet for Telltale. The developer's" The Walking Dead," "The Wolf Among Us" and "Tales from the Borderlands" each spanned five episodes.

The included image shows the book and television series' Iron Throne depicted in what appears to be something akin to an oil painting. This appears to jibe with yesterday's tweet from Job Stauffer, Telltale Games director of public relations, in which he wrote that he was playing two games at the office. "One looks a lot like my favorite FPS, the other like a living oil painting."

Going through all of the tweets sent out about "Iron From Ice," it seems that the game will center on the House Forrester, a minor clan that is mentioned in the fantasy novel series, but hasn't made an appearance as of yet on the HBO series. That hypothesis is backed up by another tweet which shows a house sigil in the shape of a tree...the sigil of House Forrester.

In a recent interview with the IBTimes UK, Telltale's senior vice president of publishing Steve Allison said that the game would take the "multi-protagonist design even further with five playable characters from the same family whose choices affect everyone in the family, and that adds a whole new layer to things that we're really excited about."

Stay tuned for more on "Iron From Ice" as it develops.
